Clean up Mac OS and make Mac Faster with this tutorial – Mac Tutorials

Mac OSX cleanup, is it necessary? Mac are those computers that stay fast compared to Windows, aren’t they? Yes, they are a lot faster and the operating system does not keep a registry with all kinds of references. MacOS does, however, keep a record of the installed programs with configuration files, and a cache directory.

In the cache folder files are temporarily placed to store program settings. After a while the cache folder can become full and cluttered and at that moment your Mac may become slower than you are used to. This may be due to the following reasons; cache files. These are the files that contain temporary settings, but after closing or cleaning up a program, the cache is retained. This can slow down your Mac considerably.
